How It All Began
Sojourn Serene was born from a family dream. Ayan and Nanda, an Indian couple with a lifelong passion for travel, had spent years exploring the world with their son Aahan — always searching for journeys that went deeper than the surface. Frustrated by impersonal group tours that rushed through the world's most extraordinary places, they decided to build something different.
In 2024, the three of them founded Sojourn Serene with a simple but powerful vision: small groups, genuine local knowledge, and unhurried itineraries that leave room for the unexpected. Their first season sold out by word of mouth alone — a testament to what happens when travel is designed with real care.
Today, Sojourn Serene runs departures across the UAE and Iceland, guided by a team who share the family's belief that travel should be transformative. Ayan leads the business vision, Nanda shapes every guest experience, and Aahan brings a fresh perspective that keeps the journeys bold and relevant. The founding belief hasn't changed: travel should change you.
